Elsie R. Rankin, 94, died January 24, 2012, at the Larned Health Care, Larned.
She was born July 29, 1917, at Johnstown, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Robert and Dorotha Cramer Cummins. She was an Accounting bookkeeper
She was a member of the Assembly of God Church, Larned.
On July 20, 1935, she married Charles W. Rankin in Wheeling, West Virginia. He died November 11, 1997.
Survivors include: a son, Charles Kenneth Rankin, Anna, Texas; a daughter, Rebecca Sue Webster, Larned; ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a son, William Ronald Rankin and a sister, Mary Stewart.
Funeral service will be Friday 10:00 a.m. at the Assembly of God Church, Larned, with Rev. Charles Rankin and Rev. Ryan Webster presiding. Entombment will be at Green Haven Memorial Gardens, Canfield, Ohio, at a later date. Visitation will be from 9a.m. to 8p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned.
