Jetmore – Elsie Irene Steinbring, 99, passed away September 19, 2026 at Hodgeman County Health Center, ISB, Jetmore.

She was born October 8, 1926 in rural Hodgeman County, the daughter of Fred and Lydia Miller Ehrlich. A lifetime area resident, she was a homemaker and enjoyed baking, cooking, gardening, and shopping.

She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church and attended the Dance Club in Jetmore.

On July 16, 1950, she married Junior A. Steinbring in Dodge City. He passed away November 19, 2020.

Survivors include: two sons, Larry (Betsy) Steinbring and Gary Steinbring, both of Jetmore; brother, Darrell (Judy) Ehrlich, Salina; sister, Darlene Patee, Wichita; sisters-in-law, Karen Ehrlich, Surprise, AZ, Val Steinbring, South Africa; three grandchildren, Lisa (Tom) Schultheis, Springfield, MO, Tami (Shaina Naegele) Steinbring, Springfield, MO; Sara (Andy) Fallis, Colorado Springs, CO and four great grandchildren, Maylie, Norah, Kenna and Harper.

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Galen Steinbring; daughter, Jana Steinbring; brother, Duane Ehrlich; sisters, Norma Jean (Danny) Hays, Evelyn (Max) Burns; brothers-in-law, Ernie Patee, Al (Rosemary) Steinbring, Walt (Gail) Steinbring, Gene (Aloha) Steinbring and a sister-in-law, Betty (Erwin) Nelson.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2026 at United Presbyterian Church, Jetmore with Rev. Nathan Neugabauer presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2026 at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore.
