Larned  - Emma L. Jones, 97, passed away February 17, 2025 at the Northcrest Living Center, Council Bluffs, Iowa.

She was born November 21, 1927 in Bazine, Kansas; the daughter of Albert and Dorothy Margaret Friebus Tittel.  A lifetime area resident, she worked at Alco in Larned, Kansas for 30 years until her retirement.

She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church, Larned.

On November 1, 1953 she married Clarence Edward Jones, he passed away November 14, 2024.

Survivors include; a daughter Vickie Palec, Council Bluffs, IA, two grandchildren; Zachary (Jessica) Palec Bellevue, Nebraska and Jason (Catherine) Palec, Newport News, Virginia and two great grandchildren; Kira Palec and Korbin Palec.

She was preceded in death by; two brothers and their wives, Ben (Hilda) Tittel and Elmer (Lillian) Tittel; a sister and her husband, Hulda (LeRoy) Dye; a son-in-law; Eduardo Palec and a grandson, Eduardo Palec Jr.

Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Larned Cemetery with Pastor Daniel Harders presiding.  Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 24, 2025 at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned, Kansas.
