Esther Mildred Clapham's Obituary
Larned - Esther Mildred Clapham, 82, died, July 11, 2007 at CKMC St. Rose Campus, Great Bend.
She was born July 26, 1924, near Laverne, Oklahoma, the daughter of James Walter and Edith M. Yoho Rolf. A resident of Larned since 1947, she was a homemaker.
She was a member of the First Christian Church of Larned, and was very active in Boy and Girl Scouts.
On June 16, 1946 she married Donald Clapham at Ashland. He died May 22, 2007.
Survivors include; two sons, Donald William "Bill", Larned; David, Burdett, a daughter Cathy Richards, Larned; a brother, Howard Rolf, Waco, Texas, three sisters, Evelyn Lewis, Phoenix, Arizona, Lois Chappell, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Doris Kimbrough, Katy, Texas, thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel with the Reverend Dan Lundgren and Pastor John Hester presiding. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and 9:00 a.m. until service time Saturday at the mortuary. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery.
Memorials may be sent to the First Christian Church or the American Lung Association both in care of the Beckwith Mortuary, P.O. Box 477, Larned, KS 67550.
