Larned – Ethel Edith Kraisinger, 103, died December 31, 2006 at the Larned Healthcare Center, Larned.
She was born December 15, 1903 at Gainesville, Missouri the daughter of Robert Samuel and Rose Edith Cown Lance. A longtime resident of Larned she was a Aide I at Larned State Hospital retiring in 1965.
She was a prior member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary, both of Larned.
On August 26th 1919 she married Dewey F. James at Gainsville Missouri. After the dissolution of that marriage, she married James (Jimmie) John Kraisinger in 1953. This union was dissolved in 1977.
She is survived by numerous Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Basil Linniol James, Eugene Burnil James, Lowel Russel James; and two brothers, George Lance, and Henry Lance.
Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Larned Cemetery, Larned with Rev. John Grummon presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery, Larned.
