Larned – Eugene Ernest Nusser Sr., 70, passed away October 22, 2023, at Country Living Memory Care, Larned, Kansas.

Eugene was born March 16, 1953, in Hutchinson, Kansas, the son of Arthur and Joyce Brocius Nusser. He grew up in Plevna, Kansas graduating from Fairfield High School before becoming a resident of Hutchinson.

He graduated from Hutchinson Community College with an associate degree in engineering and was employed with Master Machine Tools and AEI, Inc. as an engineer.

He was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church of Hutchinson. Eugene was on the original board of directors for Club Azzurri Soccer Club where he dedicated his time to the club for the betterment of the sport and his sons.

Survivors include: two sons, Eugene Nusser Jr., Wichita and William (Katelyn) Nusser, Larned; a daughter, Heather Nusser, Knoxville, TN; a sister, Connie Nusser, Tulsa, OK; three grandchildren, Landon Nusser, Reese Nusser and Kai Bowers.

Cremation has taken place.  Private inurnment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery of Hutchinson.
