Jetmore – Evelyn E. Cossman, 84, died December 11, 2009 at Hodgeman County Long Term Care Center, Jetmore.
She was born January 12, 1925 at Spearville the daughter of Hiram and Bessie Bomberger Colburn. She was Homemaker/Farm wife.
She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, United Presbyterian Women, Past School Board Member all of Jetmore.
On August 3, 1947 at Jetmore, She married James V. Cossman He survivors.
Other survivors include: one son Stan, Jetmore; three daughters, Jayme Nuss, Jetmore; Lynette Rasmussen, Floyds Knobs, Indiana; Kris Tanner, Garden City; one brother Robert Colburn, Kansas City, Ks.; one sister, Isabelle Kirschner, Kansas City, MO.; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by, one grandson Justin Nuss, three brothers, Hiram Colburn Jr., Edward Colburn, John Colburn, three sisters Mary Koontz, Helen Colburn, and Betty Thompson.
Funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday at the United Presbyterian Church, Jetmore, with the Rev. Mark Durham presiding. Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Saturday and Sunday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore.
Memorials may be sent to the United Presbyterian Church, Jetmore, in care of the Funeral Home.
