Zook – F. Albert Hays, 97, died December 16, 2006 at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital, Larned.
He was born November 5, 1909 at Zook, Kansas the son of John Henry and Lucy Matilda Buhrer Hays. A lifetime Pawnee County resident, he was a farmer.
He was a member of the Larned United Methodist Church and past board member of the Pleasant Valley Township.
He was preceded in death by two brother, John "Jake" and William Hays; and a sister, Edith Sooby.
Survivors include: a sister, Goldie Horton, Zook, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned, with Pastor Tim Ault-Duell presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday all at the mortuary. Burial will be in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Zook.
