Jetmore - Frances Elaine Light, 95, passed away September 27, 2017 at the Hodgeman County Long-Term Care Center.
She was born April 10, 1922 in Parsons, KS. the daughter of Frank Irving and Elsie Omega Bandy Larery. Moving from Yates Center, KS to Jetmore, KS in 2008, she was a Homemaker, Teacher and co-owner/operator of the Furniture Place, Yates Center, KS.
She was a member the United Presbyterian Church and United Presbyterian Woman and Bible Study group all of Jetmore and the P.E.O. Chapter CH of Yates Center.
On August 29, 1943 she married M. Enoch Light in Parsons, KS. He passed away October 7, 2007.
Survivors include: three sons, Martin (Judith) Light, Houston, TX., Robert (Cindy) Light, DeSoto, KS. and Andrew (Randa) Light, Wichita, KS.; one daughter, Betsy (Larry) Steinbring, Jetmore, KS. and four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Enoch Light; infant son, Edward Frank Light; two sisters, Mildred Schmid and Dr. Dorothy A. Larery; one brother, Paul Larery; one sister-in-law, Barbara Larery and one brother-in-law, Woodrow Schmid.
Visitation will be held Friday from 9am to 8pm with family present from 7 pm to 8pm at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore, KS. Funeral Service will be held Monday at 2:00 pm at Campbell Funeral Home, Yates Center, KS. Burial following the service at Yates Center Cemetery.
