Jetmore- Franciene (Daisy) Kenton, 84, passed away June 21, 2017 at Medicalodge in Kinsley, KS.

She was born October 10, 1932 in North Roscoe Township in Hodgeman County, the daughter of Thomas William and Pearl Jones Sinclair. A lifetime area resident, she was a homemaker.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church and Jolly Jayhawker 4-H Club, both of Jetmore.

On March 30, 1955, she married Orie Van Kenton in Dodge City, KS. He passed away September 21, 2013.

Survivors include: three sons, Larry Kenton, Dodge City, KS, Van Kenton, Bucklin, KS, Bart (Karla) Kenton, Hays, KS,; three daughters, Reyne Kenton, Topeka, KS, Lana (Jeremy) Miller, Plainville, KS, Leslie (David) Koerner, Lawrence, KS; four brothers, Cleason Sinclair, Wichita, KS, Mervin and Charles Sinclair, Dodge City, Erskine Sinclair, Panhandle, TX; seven grandchildren, Bradley (Misty) Kenton, Bucklin, Wesley Kenton, Wichita, Hayley (Arin) Hatfield Osbment, Wiley, CO, Brady Kenton and Riley Kenton, both of Hays, Sarah Kenton and Emma Koerner, both of Lawrence and three great grandchildren, Zayden McCorkle and Max Osbment, both of Wiley, CO and Hudson Kenton, Bucklin.

She was preceded in death by a son, Kurt Kenton and three brothers, Francis, Wilbur and Harry Sinclair and two sisters, Lorraine Whipple and Olive Baldwin and a half brother, Alex Sinclair.

Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore, with Pastor Marc Bradshaw presiding. Friends may sign the register book from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Inurnment will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore.
