Obituary

Francis Hey Jr., 81, passed away Thursday July 23, 2020 at the Hodgeman County Long Term Care Center, Jetmore.

He was born September 26, 1938 in Hodgeman County, the son of Francis and Clara (Schwab) Hey Sr.

A lifetime area resident he was a farmer and a rancher. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Jetmore. He graduated from Dodge City Community College and attended Fort Hays State University.

On September 23, 1961 he married Jenny Lu Sinclair at Wichita University; she survives.

Other Survivors include: two daughters, Susan (Lynn) Nuss, Jetmore, Sally (Kelly) Klausmeyer, Hays; two sisters, Gerry Stuckey, Jetmore, Norma Jean Stegman, Dodge City; five grandchildren, Kyle Nuss, Zachary Nuss, David Nuss, Adam Klausmeyer, and Ethan Klausmeyer; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kenneth Hey; six sisters,  Lorraine Hey, Loretta Hiller, Betty Sinclair, Lucy Craghead, Mary Pitts, and Luella Fose.

Funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 27, 2020 at the United Methodist Church, Jetmore, with Harman Bliss presiding. Service will be viewable via Facebook Live at www.facebook.com/beckwithmortuary. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 2020 at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore.
