Fred (Ray) Kincaid, 92, passed away April 24, 2017 at Diversicare of Larned.

He was born February 9, 1925 in Heizer, Kansas; the son of Fred R. and Pauline Baker Kincaid. A lifetime area resident he was a custodian at the Larned Middle School, Pawnee County Court House and St. Rose Health Center.

He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was a wonderful handy man and loved working with his hands.

He married Alice Rohr, she passed away in April of 1967. He later married Mathilda Kowalsky – Reames on September 4, 1971 in Larned. She passed away April of 2005.

Survivors Include: one daughter, Sally Campbell, San Antonio, TX.; two step- daughters, Rena Spanier, Colorado Springs, CO., Mary Ann (Joe) Zink, Larned, KS., fifteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Gloria Zamarripa; one Stepson, Jerry Reames and one Grandson, Frankie Zamarripa.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday at 1p.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Larned with Father Warren Stecklein presiding, visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. Inurnment will be in the Great Bend Cemetery, Great Bend, Kansas.
