Larned - Freda V. Yust, 92, died August 13, 2006 at her home, Larned.
She was born October 23, 1913 in Hanston, Kansas, the daughter of Albert John and Elizabeth Sadie Hubin Halling. A longtime Larned resident since 1953 moving from Sylvia and Burdett. She was a Homemaker.
She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Larned.
On August 3, 1938, she married Alfred William Yust at Denver, Colorado. He died September 16, 1997.
Survivors include, a son Wayne, North Branch, Minnesota, four daughters, Carol Bowlus, Virginia Brownlee, Phyllis Harding, all of Larned, Donna Thompson, Burdett, two brothers, Larry Halling, Hanston and Robert Halling, Jetmore, nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by; three brothers, Alvin (Jack), Frank and Harold and two sisters, Ella Cooksey, Mabel Howe and a grandson, Matthew Harding.
Funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, with the Pastor LeRoy Lyon presiding. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Mortuary. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery.
