Jetmore – Gary L. Cossman, 67, passed away February 28, 2020 at his home in Jetmore, KS.

He was born February 7, 1953 in Dodge City, KS, the son of J.M. and Mary M. Lightfoot Cossman.  A lifetime area resident, he was a farmer/Cattleman/Truck Driver.

He was associated with the Kalvesta United Methodist Church.

On November 25, 1978, he married Sue Woods in Cimarron, KS .  She survives.

Other survivors include: two sons, Michael (Nikki) Cossman, Daniel (Kerra) Cossman, both of Jetmore, KS.; two daughters, Laurie (Travis) Petersilie, Ness City, KS, Lindsey (Adam) Hatesohl, Washington, KS; two brothers, Max Cossman, Kansas City, Nick (Carla) Cossman, Jetmore, KS.; sister, Gail (Dave) Brandyberry, Lenora, KS and fourteen grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Kalvesta United Methodist Church with Rev. Michael Keating presiding.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. with family present from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore, KS.  Private family burial will be at a later time.
