Obituary

Jetmore – Geneva (Boese) Glunt, 101, passed away November 17, 2015, at the Hodgeman County Health Center, Jetmore.

She was born December 18, 1913, in Dundee, the daughter of Jacob and Minnie Schultz Boese, a lifetime area resident; she was a teacher and homemaker.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church, American Baptist Women, Sunny West FCE, Old Worth While Group and Gideons International, all of Jetmore.

On April 19, 1942, she married Loris L. Glunt at Ness City. He passed away March 9, 1992.

Survivors include: a daughter, Janice, (Daniel) Baca, Jetmore; five grandchildren, Sheri (David) Berger, Dodge City, Chris (Staci) Klein, Jetmore, Curtis (Nicki) Klein, Wichita, Candice (Tavo) Montes, Jetmore, Machel Klein, Dodge City and Donnie Clare, Dodge City; twelve great grandchildren, Teri (Steven) Gleason, Blade, Clayton, Trace, Kaden, Erik, Ian, Brinkley, Alexis, Jonathan, Nathan and Destiny.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Ethel Oppy and a foster daughter, Shirley Brown.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church, Jetmore with Pastor Rod McMillan presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore.
