Larned – Gertrude Marie Fisher 95, died March 29, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center, Rogers, Arkansas.
She was born January 29, 1914 in Barton County, Kansas the daughter of Otto R. and Marie Zajic Harzman. A resident of Rogers since April 1, 1989 moving from Larned, she was a retired Secretary at the Larned State Hospital. She loved to travel with her husband Adrian visiting 49 states, and she was an avid gardener.
On April 8, 1960, she married Adrian Walter Fisher at Alva, Oklahoma. He survives.
Survivors include: two grandchildren, David Sprout, Wichita, Deb Cauble, Larned; and three great-grandsons, Jason Cauble, Larned, Michael Cauble, Wichita, and David Kendall, Wichita.
She was preceded in death by a son, Leonard E. Sprout.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned, with Pastor Dan Lundgren presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at the mortuary. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery, Larned.
