Jetmore – Gilbert "Gil" G. Burns, 67, passed away August 21, 2021 at Trinity Manor, Dodge City.

He was born August 5, 1954 in Jetmore, the son of Robert O. "Pud" and Emma Jeane Gibbs Burns.  A lifetime area resident, he was a mechanic and in his earlier years he was a butcher at his father's grocery store, Burns IGA.

Survivors include: daughter, Tracy (Raymond) Millershaski, Dodge City; two brothers, Jay (Marla) Burns, Hutchinson and Ray (Debra) Burns, Dodge City; sister, Nonie Wilson, Wichita and a granddaughter, Ashley Millershaski.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned.

Memorials may be given to Gilbert G. Burns Memorial Fund in care of Beckwith Funeral Home, Box 663 Jetmore, KS 67854.
