Gladys May Caywood's Obituary
Larned - Gladys May Caywood, 104, died April 8, 2009 at Pleasant View, Inman.
She was born May 3, 1904 in Larned, the daughter of James and Elizabeth Jordan Valk. A lifetime Kansas resident, she was a Homemaker.
On January 7, 1926 she married Bert Caywood in Larned. He died November 13, 1984.
Survivors include; three daughters, Phyllis Fowler, Norman, Oklahoma, Winifred White, Hutchinson, Shirley Presley Urbanek, Salina; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a brother Earl Valk; and a sister Lucille Miller.
Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Larned cemetery with the Rev. Bill Fitzgerrel presiding. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and 9:00 a.m. until service time Saturday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery.
