Gladys M. Jurgensen's Obituary
Larned – Gladys M. Jurgensen, 91, died February 18, 2008 at Central Kansas Medical Center, Great Bend.
She was born September 27, 1916 in Pawnee, Co. the daughter of Charles & Inez Fertig. A lifetime Larned resident she worked in the dietary department at the Gleason Hospital.
She was a member of the First Christian Church, Larned.
On August 30, 1941, she married Lester William Jurgensen at Larned. He died August 11, 1977.
Survivors include: two nephews, and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Fertig Jr.; two sisters Virginia Gamber and Ida Fertig.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned with Pastor Dan Lundgren presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at the mortuary. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery.
Memorials may be left to the First Christian Church in care of Beckwith Mortuary, Inc., P.O. box 477, Larned, KS 67550.
