Glenda Colson, 83, passed away March 25, 2025 at Salina Regional Health Center, Salina.

She was born June 19, 1941 in Blaine, Kansas, the daughter of Glenn and Orlene Wagner Wahl.   A longtime area resident, she was a hairdresser a massage therapist and worked at IBP in Holcomb.

She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod, Larned; was a member of the fiddlers and pickers of Lakin, and enjoyed quilting, sewing, knitting and crocheting.

Survivors include; three sons, Rodney (Dail Crelly) Colson, Larned, Jon (Nicole) Colson, Big Piney, WY and David Colson, Garden City; four step children, Floyd Bahntge, Topeka, Tammy (Mike) Arbogast, Lakin, Jeffery (Charlotte) Bahntge, Kendall, Shannon Bahntge, Sublette; two sisters, Elvera Bergsten, Wamego and Darlene Sutton, Topeka and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her longtime companion, Ron Bahntge and a granddaughter, Tosha Rene Nicole Colson.

Memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2025, at Beckwith Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Stanley Palmer presiding.  Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday April 3, 2025 at the mortuary.
