Rozel – Glendoris I Foos Blattner, 90, passed away January 9, 2022 at her home in Rozel.

She was born October 11, 1931 in Bazine, KS, the daughter of Fred and Clara Steiben Rein.  A lifetime area resident, she was a farm wife, worked at Pawnee Heights School and the LaCrosse Sale Barn.  She was a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandma and Great Grandma Dory.

She was a member of the Rozel Methodist Church and enjoyed embroidering, jigsaw puzzles, baking and gardening.

On March 12, 1950, she married Theodore "Ted" C. Foos in Bazine.  He passed away October 3, 1993.  On June 9, 2001 she married Eugene "Gene" T. Blattner in Rozel.  He passed away February 19, 2017.

Survivors include: son, Ritch (Debra) Foos, Rozel; daughter, Pamela (DaVern) Spreier, Rozel; daughter-in-law, Sonja Foos, Burdett; sister, Genelda (Clarence) Gumescheimer, Great Bend; two sisters-in-law, Sherron Rein, Fort Collins, CO, Joyce Rein, Abilene; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Terry Foos and three brothers, Cletus, Valis and Leland Rein.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Bazine Cemetery, Bazine, with Randy Blattner presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Beckwith Mortuary.
