Great Bend – Glenn Russell Dunavan, 77, went home to be with the Lord September 12, 2010 at his home in Great Bend, Kansas.

He was born May 7, 1933 in Decatur, County, Kansas, the son of Floyd and Dolly Roe Dunavan. He was a Soil Scientist for the United State Government.

He was a member of The Father House's, Larned.

On February 13, 1956, he married Sandra Ann (Delp) Dunavan at Medford Oklahoma, she survives.

Other Survivors include; a son Russell, Sturgis, South Dakota; five daughters, Delene Martinez, Morrison, Colorado, Dorathea Kelly, Derby, Deirdre Franey, Murphy, Texas, Donica Schumacher, Great Bend, Danielle Eckland, Santa Clara, California; a sister Dorothy Posson, Denver, Colorado; twenty-one grandchildren; and nine great- grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Wilbur; a sister, Mildred Dunavan, one grandchild, Megan.

Funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday at The Father's House with the Pastor Mike Pfortmiller presiding. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, with family present from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned and 10:00 A.M. until service time Friday at the Church. Burial will be in the Belpre Cemetery Belpre, Kansas.
