Grace Olive Grandy's Obituary
Grace Olive Grandy, 90, passed away January 2, 2012 at the Country Place Living Center, Larned.
She was born September 20, 1921 in Rozel, the daughter of Louie and Ora Renfro Pfenninger. A lifetime area resident; she was a homemaker. Her family and church were first and foremost in her life.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and the Golden Rule Quilting Club all of Rozel.
On September 28, 1941 she married Robert P. Grandy at Rozel. He passed away May 16, 2009.
Survivors include; two sons; Gary and wife Faye, Rozel, Darrell and wife Brenda, Hooker, Oklahoma; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by; four brothers; Howard, Charles, Chester and Harold.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Brad McCoy presiding. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary. Burial will be in the Garfield Cemetery, Garfield.
Memorials may be given to the United Methodist Church of Rozel, in care of the Beckwith Mortuary, P.O. Box 477, Larned, KS 67550.
