Obituary

Grace A. Lupfer, 90, passed away on February 24, 2023 at the Hodgeman County Health Center, Jetmore.

She was born July 21, 1932 in Hodgeman County, the daughter of Orla J. "Bill" and Lokadia David Anderson.

A lifetime area resident she was a homemaker. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday School and Bible School and was a member of the Presbyterian Women. She was a member of FCE, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Samaritan's Purse, and she was a 4H leader.

On September 9, 1951 she married William "Bill" Lupfer in Inola, Oklahoma; he passed away on February 19, 2018.

Survivors include: two daughters, Kathryn (Merrill) Lupfer-Nielsen, Denmark, KS, Nadine (BJ) Hope, Cunningham, KS; son, Robert (Faye) Lupfer, Hanston; brother, Paul Anderson, Mount Morris, IL; nine grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her husband; a son, William Gregory Lupfer; two brothers, David Anderson and Jerry Anderson.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 2, 2023 at United Presbyterian Church, Jetmore with Rev. Mark Durham and Rev. Stan Adamson presiding. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore with family present from 6-8 p.m. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore.
