September 18, 1920 – February 12, 2009
He was born September 18, 1920 in Garfield, the son of Byron Irvin and Myrtle Odie Shirley Hall. A lifetime area resident he was a WWII Air Force Pilot, Farmer, Real Estate Salesman and a Flight Instructor.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church, V.F.W, Masonic Lodge, American Legion all of Larned, American Legion of Garfield, and the Experimental Aircraft Association
On August 5, 1947 he married Doris L. Sheppard. She died, November 27, 1991.
Survivors include; two sons, James B., Ottawa, Matthew W., Garfield, a brother , Ross Hall, Marble Falls, Texas, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by; a son, Nicholas S. Hall and a sister, Irene Knupp.
Funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church, Larned with the Reverend Bill Fitzgerrel presiding. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the Beckwith Mortuary. Burial will be in the Garfield Cemetery with Military Honor Guard provided by the United States Air Force.
