Larned - Hazel E. Stump, 81, died March 30, 2010 at Promise Regional Hospital, Hutchinson.
She was born August 29, 1928 in Bison, the daughter of Everett O and Francis Bitter Edwards. A lifetime Pawnee County resident; she was a Dietary Aide at the Larned State Hospital.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Church Choir and a former officer of the Welcome Inn all of Larned.
Survivors include; a son Alan and wife Lois, Las Animas, Colorado, three daughters; Elaine Zook and husband N. Mark, Alamosa Colorado, Barbara McVay and husband Brian, Burdett, Rebecca Kaiser and husband Dan, Chase, Ks, brothers; Everett "Peck" Edwards, Hutchinson, Elbert Edwards, Zane Edwards, both of Bison, Forrest Edwards, Russiaville, Indiana, sister; Ladine Peterson, Ellinwood, Ruth "Susie" Krug, LaCrosse, Holly Brack, Spearman Texas, eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by; two brothers Thomas Edwards and Robert Edwards, and three sisters Minetta Smith, Lois Edwards, Elma Edwards.
Funeral will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned with the Rev. Bill Fitzgerrel presiding. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery.
