Larned – Helen G. Cade, 99 died July 10, 2010 at Heartland Haven, Inman.
She was born June 23, 1911 at Scottsville, Kansas the daughter of Benjamin and Anna Shore. A longtime resident of Larned, she was a homemaker.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Choir member for many years, Larned Music Club, both of Larned, DAR, Kansas Osteopathic Auxiliary, and National Osteopathic Association Auxiliary.
On April 1, 1933 she married Dr. Victor R. Cade at Kansas City, Kansas. He died December 14, 1994.
Survivors include: son, Steven Cade, Denver, Colorado; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Sonya Cade Steiner; two sisters, Lucille Ludy, Donna Soxman; half-sister, Bertha Shore; and two half-brothers, Chester and Schiller Shore.
Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at the Larned Cemetery with Pastor Bill Fritzgerrel presiding. There will be no visitation.
