Jetmore - Helen Haun, 95, died, April 17, 2007 at the Western Plains
Medical Complex, Dodge City. She was born August 10, 1911 in rural Hodgeman
County.
A lifetime area resident, she was the Jetmore Librarian for several years,
and she served as the Register of Deeds of Hodgeman County for 28 years.
On November 26, 1931 she married Kenneth Beryl Haun, in Dodge City. He died
August 3, 1965.
Survivors include: one sister, Donna Randack of Colorado Springs, CO, two
daughters, Virginia Traylor and husband Duane of Littleton, Colorado, and
Adelia (Dee) Stoecker of Dodge City, grandchildren,
Michael Stoecker, Lawrence, Nancy and husband Mark Casey of Highlands Ranch,
CO and Scott and wife Susan Traylor of Oak Park, IL, great-grandchildren,
Chloe and Collin Casey and Jack and Catherine Traylor, niece, Consuelo
deChoudens Holtzer and great-niece, Laura Holtzer, Strasbourg, France and
numerous friends and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Flossie Sinclair and a
sister; Micke deChoudens.
Memorial Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the First United
Methodist Church, Jetmore. Friends may sign the register book from 9:00
a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the Beckwith Funeral Home.
Cremation will take place. Inurnment will be in the Fairmount Cemetery,
Jetmore at a later date.
