Spearville  - Helen June MacBride, 87, passed away May 6, 2022 at SunPorch, Dodge City.

She was born September 11, 1934 in Spearville, Kansas; the daughter of Austin and Katherine Stramel Kropp.  A longtime area resident she moved from Spearville to Denver in 1959, moved to Idaho, then later moved back to Spearville, she was a Bookkeeper.

She was a member of the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Spearville.  She was a member of the Spirit Lake Auxiliary, Spirit Lake, Idaho and the Cousin Club, Spearville.  She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and antiquing.

On April 10, 1983 she married Edwin MacBride in Golden, Colorado.  He passed away April 28, 2007.

Survivors include; three sons, Dennis (Susie) Hernandez, Spearville, David Hernandez, Spearville, and Tim (Cindy) Hernandez, Broomfield, Colorado; two daughters, Bridget Anderson, Wadesville, Indiana and Peggy (Lester) Schulte, Spearville; a step-son, Bruce (Carrie) MacBride, Spirit Lake, Idaho; two step-daughters, Liz Berlin, Denver, Colorado and Bridget Jentzsch, Phoenix, Arizona; two sisters, Annette Benish and Joyce Rogers, both of Spearville; nineteen grandchildren and thirty two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by; her husband a daughter, Stephanie Hernandez, a sister, Julia Luton and a daughter-in-law Carol Hernandez.

Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 9, 2022 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Spearville with Father John Forkuah.  A rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday before the service. Inurnment will be in the St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Spearville.
