Hermine Jo Leet, 82, died November 30, 2006, at Hodgeman County Long Term Care Center, Jetmore.

She was born February 17, 1924, at Lyons, the daughter of Irwin Heye and Retta A. Meyer Janssen. She was a lifetime area resident, working for Western Power and Light for over 30 years in Dodge City and retiring in 1991.

She belonged to the First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, life member of the Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion, Volunteer for the Senior Center, R.S.V. P., Community Concert member, and a avid DCCC basketball fan, all of Dodge City, and a Jetmore Motorplex fan, Jetmore.

Survivors include: two sons, Charles Leet Jr., and wife Kay Jetmore, Richard Leet and wife Shawnee, Hutchinson; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Dwain Janssen; a sister, Marjorie Dickerson.

Funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church, Dodge City, with Dr. Jim Godbey presiding. Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Saturday and Sunday at Beckwith Funeral Home Jetmore. Burial will be at 3p.m. Monday at Lyons Municipal Cemetery, Lyons.
