Hanston – Iline A. Cox, 83, died March 9, 2011 at Manor of the Plains, Dodge City, Kansas.
She was born July 26, 1927 in Hodgeman County, Kansas. The daughter of Bert & Bertha Smith Jones. She was a Homemaker/Housewife.
She was of the Christian Faith.
On September 15, 1945 in Ness County, Kansas, she married Edward Emerson Cox. He died May 5, 1985.
Survivors: include, two sons, Randall of Hanston; Lindall of Holcomb; one daughter, Emma Jean Salmans, Montezuma; One brother Raymond Jones, Warsaw, MO.; one sister, Arline Byrum, Larned; three grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Dennis Jones.
Funeral will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Hanston, with Rev. Carl Vincent presiding. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in the Ness City Cemetery, Ness City.
Memorials may be sent to the First Baptist Church, United Methodist Church, both of Hanston, or Hospice of the Prairie. In care of the Funeral Home.
