Larned - Irene V. Alexander, 97, died, January 12, 2006 at the Larned Healthcare Center.
She was born January 3, 1909 in Overton, Nebraska, the daughter of Fred and Lula Lunsford Norall. A Larned resident since: 1983 moving from Kearney, Nebraska. She was a Homemaker.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Larned and was a Craft Lady.
On July 4, 1930 she married Ralph E. Alexander at North Platte, Nebraska. He died May 25, 1982.
Survivors include; a son, Ralph D., and wife Maudie, Lefors, Texas, three daughters, Gwen and the late Vurn Walter, Larned, Joan and husband Ronald Bagley, St. Mary's, Georgia, Judy and husband George Lookhart, Manhattan, twenty two grandchildren, thirty three great-grandchildren and sixteen great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by; a daughter, Virginia Moore, a brother, Gerald Norall and a sister, Laberta Hiscock.
Funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel with the Reverend John Hester presiding. Visitation will be until 8:00 p.m. Today and 9:00 a.m to 8:00 p.m. Friday and until service time Saturday at the Beckwith Mortuary. Burial will be in Kearney Cemetery, Kearney Nebraska.
