Larned - "Irene" Rosie Marie Campbell, 83, died May 29, 2009 at Larned Healthcare Center.
She was born May 23, 1926 in Macksville. The daughter of William Vernon and Lydia Jane Profitt Riley. A lifetime Larned resident; she was a homemaker.
She was a Lifetime American Legion Auxiliary Member.
On March 18, 1944 she married Glenn Albert Campbell at Kinsley. He died May 12, 1972.
Survivors include; son, Earl, daughter, Glenda Goatcher, both of Larned, brother; Lawrence, Denver, Colorado, two sisters, Dora Kettering, Denver, Colorado and Mary Striggs, Dodge City, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by; two sisters, Velma Hamilton and Ruth Schouten.
Graveside Service will be at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday at the Larned Cemetery with the Rev. John Grummon presiding. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday and 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery.
Memorials may be sent to the Pawnee County Humane Society in care of the Beckwith Mortuary, P.O. Box 477, Larned, KS 67550.
