Hanston – Isaac David Korf, 17, died July 24, 2009 at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital, Wichita.
He was born February 24, 1992, in Yekaterinburg, Russia. He was adopted by Darren Korf and Shannon Gleason on September 30, 1997 and became a US citizen on August 19, 1998. He was a student and a farmer.
He attended the Hanston Mennonite Church
Survivors include: two sisters, Sarah Marie and husband Kirk Dickson, Pratt, Katherine 'Katie" and husband Alan Claassen, Whitewater; a brother, Noel Michael Korf, Preston; Maternal Grandparents, Marvin and Carolyn Gleason, Kinsley.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Vernon and Aileen Korf.
Funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church, Hanston, with Rev. Carl Vincent presiding. Friends may call from 9a.m to 8p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. The Casket will be closed. Burial will be in the Mennonite Church Cemetery, Hanston.
