James F. English's Obituary
James "Tex" English, 74, died August 18, 2011, at Pawnee Valley Community Hospital, Larned.
He was born September 15, 1936, in Texas. A longtime area resident, he was a truck driver.
He was of the protestant faith and a member of the Lion's Club, Larned.
On Feb. 11, 1971, he married Anne A. Robbins at Larned. She died December 13, 1996.
Survivors include: a daughter, Julie Schartz, Larned and two grandchildren, Australia and Saber Schartz, Larned.
Memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 25, at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned, with Pastor Ryan Webster presiding. Friends may sign the register book from 9a.m. to 8p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Pawnee County Humane Society in care of the Beckwith Mortuary, Box 477 Larned, KS. 67550.
