Garfield – M. Jane Cline, 83, died August 17, 2007, at the Larned Healthcare Center, Larned.

She was born February 5, 1924 at Buffalo, Kansas the daughter of Robert E. and Florence I. Erickson Carlson. A lifetime Pawnee County resident she was a homemaker and former USD #495 secretary for 19 years.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church, UMW, Over 50 club all of Garfield, and was an avid painter and seamstress.

On June 5, 1942 she married W. H. Cline at Garfield, Kansas. He survives.

Other survivors include: two sons, Bill, and wife Joan, Bob, and wife Cindy, Garfield; a sister, Mary Lou Boon Tampa, Florida; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Stephen; and a daughter Connie.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Ken Walker presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned. Burial will be in the Garfield Cemetery, Garfield.
