Janet L. Deets' Obituary
Dodge City- Janet L. Deets, 62, passed away November 3, 2017 at her residence in Dodge City, KS.
She was born January 25, 1955 in Larned, KS. the daughter of Merwyn C. and Nadine Nauert Deets. A lifetime area resident she graduated from Larned High School and Attended Fort Hays State University. She was in retail sales for JCPenney at Larned and Dodge City. The last 20 years were spent in the Jewelry Department.
She was a member of the Garfield United Methodist Church and was a JCPenny Associate.
Survivors include: one brother, Don (Tania) Deets, Hays, KS.; three sisters, Bonnie Bird, Larned, KS., Diana (Dennis) Echard, Oklahoma City, OK., Mona (Jerry) Johnson, Angel Fire NM. and several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned with Rev. Bethann Black presiding. Visitation will be held Monday from 9am to 8pm at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. Burial will be at the Garfield Cemetery following the service.
Memorials may be given to Hospice of the Prairie or the Garfield Methodist Church in care of Beckwith Mortuary, PO Box 477, Larned, KS. 67550.
