Jeanne H. Bell's Obituary
Larned - Jean H. Bell, 92, died March 15, 2011 at the Larned Healthcare Center.
She was born September 7, 1918 at Atkinson, Illinois, the daughter of Arthur H. and Mina L. De Roo. A Larned resident since the 1940, she worked for Dillons for eight years during WW II.
She graduated from Atkinson High School in 1936 and then attended University of Illinois at Urbana, Illinois until the family moved to Larned, Kansas.
She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Larned and the Fort Larned Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
On July 15, 1943 she married W. Robert Bell at Dodge City. He died February 27, 1987.
Survivors include; two sons, Roger E. Bell, Larned and Gerald R. Bell, Portland Oregon and three step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Francis.
There will be no visitation and a private family burial will be in the Larned Cemetery.
