Jetmore – Jerald L. Pitts, 84, passed away January 13, 2023 at Hodgeman County Health Center, Jetmore.

He was born May 8, 1938 in Jetmore, the son of Earl and Elizabeth Love Pitts.  A longtime area resident, he was an Oilfield Dispatcher.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church, American Legion and VFW, all of Jetmore. He served in the United States Army from 1961 to 1982.

On July 16, 1964, he married Donna D. Juzwikowski in Hannover, Germany.  She survives.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Donna Lynn Pitts, MO and Mary E. Nero, Irving, TX; brother, Norman D. Pitts, Jetmore; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Jesse, Warren, Willis, John and Vernon Pitts; two sisters, Audrey Pitts and Eunice Lampe.

Cremation has taken place and a graveside service with military honors will be at a later date.
