Jetmore – Jerol R.(Jerry) Maddox, 79, died July 9, 2007 at the Hodgeman County Long Term Care Center, Jetmore.
She was born October 8, 1927 in Kirwin, the daughter of Edward V. and Daisy Mae Hoffman McQueen. She was a resident of Hodgeman County since 1997, moving from Lyons. She was a Nurse.
She belonged to the Methodist Church.
Survivors include: one son Terry Maddox, Stockton, Ks.; one daughter Diana Marshall-Havard, Hanston; two sisters Jackie Engler, Kanab, Utah; Iris Wing, Hill City; one brother, Carroll McQueen Stockton; 5 grandchildren, 8 great- grandchildren, and 2 great- great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Lola Mclaughin, one brother Edward McQueen.
Graveside service will be Thursday at 2:30p.m. at Bogart Cemetery, Kirwin, Ks., with Rev. Gary Winget presiding. Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. today and Wedneday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in Bogart Cemetery Kirwin, Ks.
Memorials may be sent to the employees of the Hodgeman County Long Term Care Center, Jetmore, American Heart and American Cancer Society in care of Beckwith Funeral Home, Box 663 Jetmore, Ks. 67854.
