Spearville – Jo Mary Schaffer, 65, died February 23, 2007, at her home, near Jetmore.
She was born November 21, 1941, in Shallow Water, Ks., the daughter of Jim Graham and Dorothy Blackman. A lifetime are resident, she was a homemaker.
She belonged to the United Methodist Church, Jetmore and the Wednesday night Painting Ladies Club. Western Kansas Decorative painting club.
On March 25, 1967, she married Harold Schaffer at Dodge City. He survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Brett, a daughter, Becky Seemann, both of Jetmore; Four brothers, Dan Graham, Hugoton, Preston Graham, Spearman, Texas, Richard Graham, Guymon, Oklahoma, Willie Graham, Strafford, Missouri; five sisters, Ada Turley, Salida, Colorado, Eva Smith, Shallow Water, Glenda Sue Massey, Garden City, Janie Benish, Spearville, Sara Ann Graham, Wisconsin; two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Graham and three sisters, Marlene Bilson, Doris Graham and Rosie Elliott.
Funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church, Jetmore, with Rev. Mitch Reece presiding. Friends may call from noon to 8p.m. Saturday, 9a.m. to 8p.m. Sunday and 9a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
