Larned – John Grover Hallock, 73, passed away January 28, 2025 at Hays Medical Center, Hays.

He was born October 9, 1951 in Larned, the son of John Melvin and Theresa Merlyn Lampe Hallock.

A lifetime area resident, he was retired from the United States Postal Service and was a farmer.

Survivors include: longtime companion, Karla Ford, Larned; son, Jason (Connie) Schuler, Jetmore; two grandsons, Ashton and Christian.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial visitation with family present will be 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 15th at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned.  Personal condolences may be left at www.beckwithmortuary.com.
