Dighton – John A. Kline, 79, passed away March 13, 2024 at Ness County Hospital LTC in Ness City, KS.

He was born September 20, 1944 in Dodge City, KS, the son of Avery W. and Opal Vera Smalley Kline.  A lifetime area resident, he was a truck driver.

He was a member of Bible Fellowship Church in Dighton and served as a Deacon.

On September 8, 1967, he married Mary Lou Lonnberg in Jetmore, KS.  She survives.

Other survivors include: son, Bradley John Kline, Cincinnati, OH; daughter, Denise Y. Kline, Scott City, KS; brother, William (Jake) Kline, Jetmore, KS; three sisters, Naomi (Danny) King, Jetmore, KS, Joy Moser, Topeka, KS, and Fern Glunt, Dodge City, KS.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Bible Fellowship Church, Dighton with Pastor Darrin Hammond presiding.
