John S. Koett's Obituary
Larned - John S. Koett, 66, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Pawnee Valley Community Hospital in Larned.
He was born August 25, 1951 in Kinsley, the son of Bernard and Marcella Schmitt Koett. He attended grade school in Belpre and Thomas Moore Prep in Hays. He also attended St. Mary of the Plains College in Dodge City. A lifetime area resident, he was a farmer/rancher near Belpre.
On May 12, 1979 he married Rolinda Sherwood in Belpre. She passed away November 2, 2009.
Survivors include: four sons; Jerome (Aqueisa) Great Bend, Corey (Crystal) Andale, Chad Larned and Austin (Shanda) Osage City; seven grandchildren; Taylor, Dylan, Dayon, Dawsyn, Tennessy, Drayke and Elias.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and a brother, Terry.
Memorial service will be 10:30 am Friday, March 9 at Beckwith Mortuary in Larned with Father Bernard Felix presiding. Visitation will be 9 am to 8 pm Thursday at the mortuary. Cremation has taken place.
