Johnnie Lorene Ebaugh (Johnson) August 29, 1944-October 6, 2017, age 73, passed away Friday, October 6, 2017 in Larned, Kansas. Born in Garden City, Kansas to the late John and Elnor Johnson, she held a Bachelor Degree from Saint Mary of the Plaines College, and also held an Associate Degree from the Garden City Community College. Johnnie received recognition from the American Criminal Justice Association. She was a loving grandmother and she never met a stranger she didn't love, and will be sorely missed.
Johnnie is survived by her three children and their spouses, Kenyon and Julie Elliott, Edmond, OK; Kristen and Gary Ingle, Claremore, OK, Kyle and Kathy Elliott, Phoenix, AZ; her brothers, Ron (Susan) Johnson of Woodward OK, and Greg (Carolyn) Johnson of Vernon TX, and a sister Starla Davidson (Kevin) of Macksville KS. And numerous nieces and nephews who adored her. Johnnie adored her grandchildren, Corey Elliott, Desire Ingle, Majkel Elliott, Zachary Elliott and Kaden Elliott, and a new great granddaughter Madison Elliott. She also leaves behind Allie and Sir George, her mischievous cats.
During her life Johnnie served her community as a police officer in Garden City, KS, a Child Protective Services agent for the State of Texas, and she was actively involved in church and frequently played piano for church services.
Funeral Services will be held THURSDAY, 2:00PM, at The Father's House of Worship, 201 E Main St, Sun City, KS 67143. Pastor Deitra Black officiating. Dinner following the service. Johnnie's ashes will be laid to rest at Sunny Side Cemetery, Sun City KS.
