Joseph John Billus, 77, passed away January 28, 2020 at his home in Pawnee Rock.

He was born October 4, 1942 in Waterbury, CT to Zigmont and Alexandra Sombrokus Billus Sr.

A longtime area resident he was a production supervisor and served in the United States Army in Vietnam. He was a member of the Pawnee Rock Christian Church, Pawnee Rock, and the American Legion, Great Bend.

On October 5, 1990 he married Betty L. Schell Parret at Great Bend, she preceded him in death on May 2, 2017.

Survivors include: two sons, Joseph (Pam) Billus Jr., Stillwater, Oklahoma, Michael Billus, Oklahoma; a step-son, Tim (Becky) Parret, Pawnee Rock; brother, Zigmont (Joan) Billus Jr., Scranton, PA; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a sister, Natalie Billus; a grandson, and a great granddaughter.

Memorial graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Pawnee Rock Cemetery, Pawnee Rock, with Pastor John Thomas presiding. Burial with military graveside rites. Visitation 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned.
