Hanston-Josephine R. Pelton, 88, died October 2, 2006 at the Hodgeman County Long Term Care Center, Jetmore, Kansas.
She was born January 14, 1918, in Bloomington, Wisconsin, the daughter of Gay and Margaret Bowdinner Dailey. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Faith Fellowship Church in Hanston, Kansas, and a member of Ladies Auxiliary, VFW.
On May 19, 1958 she married Theodore Ted Pelton in Clark County, Nevada. He died in 1977.
Survivors include: two sons; Dale Pelton, Hanston, and Dan Pelton, Hanston. One daughter; Joyce Johnson, Santa Cruz, California, and one sister Leora Thomas, West End, North Carolina, and 15 grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons: Bill Mahr and Ted (Butch) Pelton, and one daughter Marjorie Mahr.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Thursday at Faith Fellowship Church in Hanston, Kansas, with the Rev. Roger Alford. Friends may call from 9 am till 8 p.m Tuesday and Wednesday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in the Hanston Cemetery.
