Larned – Joyce Whitesell, 80, passed away May 1, 2018 at Diversicare of Larned.

She was born July 26, 1937 in Wellington, Texas, the daughter of Floyd and Vera Gardner Camp.  She moved to Larned from Garden City in 2006 and she was a collection Bureau supervisor.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and loved antiques.

On December 25, 1984, she married Edward G. Whitesell in Pueblo, Colorado.  He survives.

Other survivors include: four sons, Charles Simpson, Larned, Marvin Simpson, Colorado Springs, CO, Walter Simpson, Pueblo, CO, Norman Simpson, Rogers, AR; sister, Mary Albright, Oro Valley, AZ; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place and no service is planned.
