Larned  - Juanda Burdine, 58 passed away August 29, 2020 at University of Kansas Health System, Pawnee Valley Campus, Larned.

She was born March 22, 1962 in Larned; the daughter of Dale Jones and Sarah Beatrice Moore.  She worked in Housekeeping and was a Mental Health Technician at Larned State Hospital.  Wanting to improve her life, she went to school in Kansas City, Missouri to become a medical assistant and worked at Medicalodge of Kinsley.

She attended the Escue Chapel, CME Church in Larned and liked collecting purses and shoes.

Survivors include; father, Dale (Mary) Jones, Larned; son, Douglas Burdine, Hutchinson; six brothers; Tony (Katherine) Fleming, Salisbury, North Carolina, Jerry (Kala) Hurde, Salina, Galen Harris, Wichita, Daniel (Sharla) Jones, Edmond, Oklahoma, Paul (Joyce) Jones, Euharlee, Georgia, Eric (Kari) Jones, Wichita; three sisters; Delores Harris, Larned, Julianna (Pete) Frazier, Larned and Melanie (Chris) Ryan, Great Bend and three grandchildren, Malachi, Zaydenn and Blyss Burdine.

She was preceded in death by: her mother, Sarah Moore and her grandmother Annabelle Brewer.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at Beckwith Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Damon Bradley and Chris Ryan presiding.
