Larned - Juanita Blackwell, 66, died December 23, 2006 at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital, Larned.
She was born April 6, 1940 in Fernwood, Mississippi, the daughter of Carey and Eva Kirkland. An area resident, she was a Licensed Mental Health Technician for the Larned State Hospital.
On Aug. 20, 1980 she married Robert Blackwell in Alva, Oklahoma. He died September 2, 2001.
Survivors include: three sons, Robert Blackwell, Kinsley, Johnny Rogers, Indiana, William Kirkland, Mississippi, three daughters, Kathy Bohn, Pawnee Rock, Rebecca Wilder, Garfield, LaDonna Jones, Mississippi, Eleven grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren.
Graveside Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Larned Cemetery with the Pastor Albert Hatten presiding. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and 9:00 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery.
